NewcastleGateshead Initiative is delighted to have a year-long partnership with The People's Kitchen.
NewcastleGateshead Initiative has pledged to use its position within the business community to help charities raise their profiles as well as funds.
The People's Kitchen was founded in 1985 by Alison Kay and now has over 25 years experience supporting disadvantaged people. The People's Kitchen services are well established and are trusted by the people who use them.
The Charity is a gateway for the vulnerable for friendship, food and clothing, providing a safety net and vital lifeline for the disadvantaged, many of who are homeless and disenfranchised from mainstream society. The charity provides some 35,000 free acts of kindness throughout the year.
The People's Kitchen offer an ideal way for support from the local community to reach the people who need it. It is entirely run by volunteers so there are no staff salaries taken out of your contributions.
The People's Kitchen rely entirely on the goodwill of individuals, business and community organisations to fund their essential services. Without help, their services may need to be restricted at the very time our friends need us the most.
