Regional accountancy awards to mark a decade of success

The North East’s largest finance and accounting event is set to celebrate 10 years of excellence, with this year’s ceremony promising to be the biggest to date, headlined by celebrity host Steve Cram.

Echo EventsThe 10th North East Accountancy Awards, sponsored by Nigel Wright Recruitment, will be returning to the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Thursday, June 30 2016, with around 400 industry professionals expected to attend.

With nominations for 2016 now open, members of the finance and accountancy community across the region are encouraged to celebrate their individual success as well as the success of their colleagues and organisations.

Whether members work for an accountancy firm, local business, international corporation, service provider or a public sector organisation, the range of categories includes team and individual awards and cover the full career span from accounts assistants to finance directors and beyond.

Fiona Fletcher, managing director at Echo Events and Association Management, one of the largest events companies in the region and the organisers of the North East Accountancy Awards, said: “We’ve seen the North East Accountancy Awards evolve every year since it was founded in 2007, and it has undoubtedly become a well-established, prestigious event in the industry’s calendar.
