First Names Confirmed for Perfect Conference Destination Debate

28th October 2010

Categories: Convention Bureau News

Representatives from VisitBritain, Kenes UK, Imagination and the MS Society, are amongst the first confirmed names set to form a panel of industry experts to determine ‘what makes the perfect conference destination?’

The forum will take place on 16th November during the Discover NewcastleGateshead event in London.  Members will debate the core factors outside of location, accessibility and price that have the most impact on delegate choice, combined with the importance of a delegate welcome, experience in hosting events and brand engagement.

Amongst those offering their views at the debate will be;
- Simon Mills, VisitBritain
- Paul Crossman, MS Society
- Sarah Wright, Sarah Wright Consulting
- Rachel Frankel, Kenes UK
- Richard Foulkes, Imagination

For NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau, findings from the forum will be further supported by delegates and media attending the event, who will have the opportunity to comment on the proposed development of a new International Conference and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) for NewcastleGateshead.
