This year’s programme is packed with something for jazz fans of all kinds – from the casual listener to the hard-core jazz devotee. They’ll all be at Centre for Life from 25 May 2015 for a major international exhibition celebrating the history, culture and future of videogames. Showcasing the finest arcade machines, consoles and hand held games ever produced, the exhibition also features the newest advancements in game design and technology.
Learn about early gaming from Penny Arcades, Pinball, Pachinko, Space Wars, Computer Space and Pong and demo 3D technology as well as exploring the latest development in virtual reality. With over 150 playable games, the exhibition includes a dedicated arcade games section with titles such as Pac-Man, Defender and Donkey Kong. Celebrating Spanish and Portuguese speaking cultures, expect cuisine, art, film, theatre, dance, music, literature, fashion, sport and more. 2014’s festival saw special events including work by Brazilian artist Flavio Morais, a Festa Junina Picnic and a day of colourful and crazy Mexican wrestling.
