The Rugby World Cup require 6,000 volunteers across England and Wales to welcome the world in 2015. 75% of volunteers will be recruited from Rugby Clubs, recognising those who support the game week-in week-out. The remaining places will give members of the public the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

The search for volunteers to join The Pack is now complete, having spanned 13 venues and included over 3,000 hours of interviews. There will be a range of roles throughout the lead up and delivery of the Tournament, with a small number of specialist roles including media operations, accreditation and operations.

Offers will be made to join The Pack in early 2015. Newcastle City Council are also recruiting local ambassadors to provide a warm and friendly Geordie welcome to visiting fans. Keep checking back for details if you're interested in being part of this amazing event.
